About Samantha Bell

Samantha lives in the upstate of South Carolina with her husband, four children, and lots of animals. Growing up in central Florida, she always said she wanted to be an artist, and her mom and dad took her back and forth to art lessons for a number of years. She even entered a local art contest and won a few ribbons. Talk about great family support!

Throughout high school and college, Samantha became interested in music and history. About a year after graduation, she pursued art again, improving her skills through lessons and practice. She began teaching art to children ages 4 – 18 and has continued to do so over the past fourteen years. Now with children of her own, she never has a shortage of students! Besides drawing and illustrating, Samantha also enjoys writing, especially for children. Her articles, stories, and poems have appeared online and in magazines and devotionals. For inspiration, she just has to turn to her family -- there's always a story to tell!
